The California Victim Services Training Institute (CVSTI) was founded in 2001 by the California Crime Victims Assistance Association (CCVAA), formerly known as the California Victim/Witness Coordinating Council (CVWCC). CVSTI was founded to provide a comprehensive centralized system of training and resources to support victim services statewide. One of the most effective methods to achieve this goal is to convey information via the Internet to the public and to staff of Victim/Witness Assistance Centers. Consequently, this web site was developed to publish information such as training, legislation, and resources for victims and witnesses and those who serve them. Simply said, we are, "Training PeoplTown-Hall2.jpge To Help Others".
